Two weeks ago, during our Saturday's DreamBelieveInspire get together, I shared with the girls about a very touching story of an older lady who had been a teacher all her professional life, made a difference to many of her students, however never one of them took the time to let her know how much she made a difference and they admired her. Only after being old and lonely at a nursing home did she learn of how much impactful she had been to some of the students who crossed her classrooms.
After the story, I had the girls agree to let their favorite teacher know how much he/she is appreciated. Rebbeca and Sandra shared their appreciation for their science teacher. :)
We begin with Sade's note to her favorite teacher. All DreamBelieveInspire girls will be sending a note to their favorite teacher and we will be sure to post each of the notes. How inspiring. :)
Thank you Sade for choosing to share with your favorite teacher your admiration and appreciation.

A Birthday Gift to my favorite teacher :)
Dear Mrs. Martz
Mrs. Martz I just would like to let you know that you are the best teacher that I have ever had since I began school. All my other teachers were nice and some just plain mean. But none of them are as nice as you. The 3 reasons you are the nicest teacher I have ever had is 1 you actually listen and understand us and our answers. Some other teachers just listen to the answer but you listen to the answer and IF we got it wrong you listen to our explanations. Reason # 2 you are very nice. You do so many things that bring positive energy and even when Kyle asks the same question about…. I don’t know… 3, 4, or, 5 times you don’t just go belistic on him you stay fly and calm. The third reason is that you NEVER and I mean NEVER get mad at anyone or at anything you just keep your cool and try to change the subject or just firmly say “your killing me” or “ your on my last nerve”, you just say it nicely. Some OTHER teachers just yell “BE QUIET” and those are the three reasons that you are my favorite teacher.
Your student,
Sade Agostinho
