Today we went to the ANANDA YOGA STUDIO for another monthly donation Yoga lesson.
Avi was graceous to gift her time to us. Avi, we are so very grateful for your time and loving presence.
Avi spend some time with us sharing thoughts on sound energy.
The OM sound is a very powerful sound. It creates energy. Through breathing properly added to creating sound, energy is created.
Breathing is very important to be added to the yoga practice. While doing the poses, one must remember to also inhale and exhale. Breathing helps with relaxing. If you slow down your breath, you will slow down your body. Self-awareness results from the effort of breathing properly.
Some of the poses we worked on today include:
- Sun Salutation
- Shvasna Pose (Seat in stillness)
LeShan and Avi are two very special human beings. We are grateful for having crossed both their paths. We see you all next month, October 13th, for another fabulous YOGA class.
