Owned a lucrative art studio for six years, coordinated group art show and exhibits for myself and others. I lived and worked overseas for 23 years.
Returned to the US in 1998, worked at the College of DuPage, Glen Ellen, Ill. Continuing Education and Older adult department as their art instructor and at Napervill Park District and other non-profit art councils. Judged for the River walk art show that was held once a year in IL. and for the College of DuPage.
Moved to Florida in 2003, joined Brandon League of fine art and Apollo Beach Chamber, have judged in both and volunteered at the Manatee Art Festival, for the past three years. Was judge and jury one year for the chamber. Judged for Sun city Center Art show and the Sea food art festival in Ruskin.
In 2004/2005, I was one of the founding members of the South Shore Arts Council. Currently I teach adult beginner and advance art in all media and subject matter.
I am a member of the Tampa Art Museum and the International Council of Tampa Bay. I am co- chair of public relations for the council, my objective is to introduce art and culture from around the world to our American audience. I volunteer and donate my time whenever possible to other artists and the art community.
Art is and will always be my passion and salvation.
